Double torture of fog and rain: Traffic slows down in Delhi, 331 flights delayed
Due to fog in North India, the speed of planes and trains in Delhi has stopped. 331 flights operating from Delhi Airport were delayed. On the other hand, more than 70 trains have been affected. Due to which passengers are getting troubled.
Fog in the morning and rain in the evening badly affected the traffic system. While the speed of trains was controlled on the railway track, it took a lot of effort to operate the planes from the airport runway. The movement of more than 70 trains coming to Delhi was affected on Wednesday. Fog and bad weather affected most aircraft.
People are not getting relief from fog and cold in North India, now due to rain the traffic system is also getting affected. On Wednesday, many planes taking off from Delhi Airport were delayed by 3-4 hours.
Srinagar bound flight SG-8473 could take off at 1:22 pm instead of 8 am. Similarly, SG-8721 flight to Patna was scheduled for 12 noon instead of 8:30 am. Apart from this, planes flying to many places including Srinagar, Goa, Ahmedabad, Jaipur operated with considerable delay.
The speed of trains has also reduced due to dense fog. Most of the trains in North India are being affected. More than 70 trains including Bhubaneswar Rajdhani, Dibrugarh Rajdhani, Rajendra Nagar Rajdhani, Sealdah Rajdhani reached their destination late by hours.
Apart from this, Vaishali, Saptkranti, Satyagraha, Rewa, Kaifiyat, Kamakhya-Delhi, Hyderabad-New Delhi, Banaras-New Delhi Express also became victims of delay due to which passengers had to face a lot of trouble.
